Consultations
Consultation enquiries, on clear terms.
When you want to speak with a person, you can send a request for a lawyer, counsellor, mediator or other support. This page explains what a request is, what it is not, and what happens next.
Kinds of support you can request
- LawyerFamily law consultation enquiries about separation, divorce, children or property in your location.
- CounsellorSupport for you individually while you work through change or conflict.
- MediatorHelp for two people to discuss arrangements and reach agreement.
- Other supportSpecialist help that does not fit the categories above.
Audio, video or in person
You can say whether you would prefer an audio call, video call or in-person meeting. Every format depends on the actual availability of a suitable professional in your area, and not every format will be possible everywhere. Choosing a country does not guarantee coverage; see country coverage.
What happens after you send a request
A request is an enquiry, not a confirmed appointment. It becomes an appointment only when the JustDivorse team or the professional confirms it with you. The professional, time, format and any fee must be confirmed separately before you meet.
No online payment is taken. Checkout is not currently enabled, and no fee is set or guaranteed by sending a request. Read payments and bookings and service scope.
Getting ready
It can help to write down key dates, what you want to understand and what outcome matters most to you. You can draft this privately with JD Mentor in Talk to JD, or agree shared priorities with a partner through Common Ground's consent-based sharing.
JD does not give legal advice and is not an emergency service. Any listed professionals are independent. For questions, email care@justdivorse.com, but avoid sending sensitive documents by email.
